USA, KUPANG TIMES - Ahead of the NET ZERO B20 and G20 Summit, which will be held in Bali November 12, 2022.

The B20 and G20 Summits will be attended by 300 Business Leaders and Foreign Investors including Businessmen and Investors from Indonesia, to explore opportunities and growth in the transition to a clean and carbon-free future (Net Zero), a State Decarbonization effort, in connection with the election of Indonesia  become the G20 Presidency, which will champion the energy transition and sustainable financing mechanisms.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan together with the Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arsjad Rasjid, the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anindya N. Bakrie and the Indonesian B20 Presidency, Shinta W. Kamdani, held a meeting with Michael R. Bloomberg, who is an envoy  specifically from the UN Secretary General for Climate Ambition and Solutions, Founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies and Member of the B20 International Advocacy Caucus, Monday, (18/04/22).

The BloombergNEF Bali Summit, will take place as an official side event in the G20 and B20 and receive strategic support from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and Equatorise, an International Advisory agency.

Notification of the BloombergNEF Bali Summit, coinciding with the Launch of Prot BNEF Academy Indonesia by BloombergNEF in collaboration with KADIN Indonesia.

BNEF Academy Indonesia, delivers Indonesian business leaders through a 5-week high-level executive education program on the key drivers, trends and opportunities for the energy transition.

The Academy's curriculum will be designed to familiarize experienced leaders with the concept of net zero and energy transitions occurring around the world including Indonesia.

Energy Transition will be in every country, but there will be data and lessons to be shared globally.

Indonesia, as the 4th most populous country in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia, will be an important participant in the global transition.

Investment opportunities in the energy sector are projected to reach USD 100 trillion, for the next three decades.
