Earthquakes are one of the deadliest natural disasters in the world and claim many lives throughout history.
In the last 20 years, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7 Magintudo that occurred in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 2010, was the deadliest in the world and claimed many lives, namely; with 316 thousand victims.
The earthquake that occurred in Nangroe Aceh Province, with 9.3 Mangintudo, in 2004 was also included in the list of the deadliest earthquakes in the world and also claimed many lives, with 227,898 fatalities.
And, the earthquake that occurred in Nangroe Aceh Province, in 2004, triggered a tsunami with waves reaching 13 meters, which destroyed most of the cities in Nangroe Aceh Province, especially in the northwestern coastal area, the island of Sumatra.
